Storage Solutions is a nationwide provider of new and used industrial warehouse storage and material handling equipment based in Westfield, Indiana. Storage Solutions offers a one stop shop for equipment sales, storage buyback, warehouse design, and installation services.
Opportunity
Storage Solutions came to DBS in 2009 desiring a website that would allow them to sell their products online, with a custom log in portal for customers. Their site needed to be easily updated to add new products and descriptions, blog posts, and change on-site content. They needed to rank well nationally for their top keywords in an extremely competitive market.
Solution
DBS>Interactive has helped Storage Solutions become the leading provider of storage in the country, with an attractive site design with navigation designed to easily locate their most popular products. Storage Solutions’ homepage includes a featured product area, an interactive image carousel, and callouts to new and used equipment pages. Elements on the homepage make it easy for visitors to find what they are looking for quickly and efficiently.
The Storage Solutions blog assists with customer education, as well as SEO efforts. The blog promotes other pages within the site, and helps define industry terms, tracks project progress, and announces important company news like job offers and awards.
Impact
DBS implemented a marketing strategy that utilizes content marketing, on page optimization, and a linkbuilding campaign to help Storage Solutions rank nationally for their top keywords.
SEO optimized articles have been featured in prominent industry websites such as the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) and Occupational Health and Safety Magazine.
On average in 2011, 53% of their top keywords ranked on the first page of Google, and 61% appear on the first 2 pages. In 2010, DBS helped grow the Storage Solutions site, increasing the average online order amount by 239% from the previous year.
